Hello again, Chicago.

Before this summer passes you by, we thought we'd give you more, for less.

Myopenbar Chicago and UR Chicago Magazine are presenting a very special event at Schubas on August 10. This RSVP-only free show will give fans the chance to see hometown heroes OFFICE as they warm up for a series of "buzz" gigs in New York City and Los Angeles to promote the pending release of their label debut, A Night At The Ritz (out September 25 via James Iha's Scratchie/New Line Records). It will be the band's first Chicago gig in over two months and likely our last chance to see them in such a small room.

Detroit natives FREER, who were recently one of only four bands to make mainstay Motor City lifestyle publication Real Detroit's "Hot List" in 2007, will mark their return to Chicago after a triumphant performance to a PACKED house @ Cobra Lounge for a Pitchfork Festival afterparty in mid July.

Up-and-coming hometown roots rockers Cracklin Moth (a headlining act all of its own, as evidenced by their recent CD release show at Subterranean) will open the show, giving you all the more reason to get there early.
