These rockers-turned-electronica duo have that special magic known as dance music intuition, which allows them to create hits like "Hustler" and "It's the Beat." This show will sell out, so get there early or buy tix in advance!


Hipsters take note: Simian Mobile Disco is the Justice of '08 (which is ironic since Justice got their start by remixing a Simian track). And even though this English production/remix duo have played Chicago before, each time SMD is more hyped then the last. Softer and more eclectic then Justice, drawing frequently from trance and house, SMD still bang the dancefloor. If the band is as ambitious with their releases as they were in 2007, SMD will no doubt be one of the top electronic acts of the year. Darkwave Disco DJs will be working it too.

    So, I was at a festival in Austria called snowbombing, (which i recommend to anybody who likes good music) and SMD cancelled. I have not seen them to date and will be looking forward to the show at Sonoteque. I cannot figure out how to get tickets in advance. Does anybody know how to do so? i would greatly appreciate it.
