Louder Than A Bomb! Teen Poetry Slam (Event Over)

Young Chicago Authors presents Louder Than a Bomb 2008: The Eighth Annual Chicago Teen Poetry Festival (LTAB) February 28 – March 9, 2008 in Chicago.  Over 400 Chicago area teens will gather at Columbia College Chicago, the Chicago Cultural Center, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Vic Theatre to compete in the nation’s largest team-oriented teen poetry slam.
 
Poetry slam bouts begin February 28th at Columbia College Chicago.  Slam semifinals take place on March 3 at the Museum of Contemporary Art.  LTAB finals will occur at the Vic Theatre.  And for the this year’s LTAB, local documentarians Greg Jacobs and Jon Siskel will be filming the festival as part of a feature-length film ( www.siskeljacobs.com).
