July 4 Evanston Fireworks (Event Over)

When a city has its own 4th of July Committee, you know they’re dead serious about fireworks.

If you want to get away from (a) tourists and/or (b) the hustle and bustle of celebrating Independence Day in the city, check out Evanston’s fireworks.

Arrive way early for a July 4 parade which moves along Central Street – from Central Park to Ashland. The Palatine Concert Band performs from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Fireworks start at 9:15 p.m.
