Conscious Alliance is an organization battling to keep belly's full
in a time of great crisis. What we are asking for instead of
just a cash donation is for you to look on your shelves and pull
out a few cans of food and bring them out to the show! Help
us, help them! In lieu of that, we'll be accepting a $5
donation... that would be appreciated! The venue and the
artists are giving their time and energy to the benefit of this
event!
The Liquid Beat All-Stars are something of a MidWest Super
band!
By their name, you can tell this is something
different! The project features Geoff Shell of THE HUE on
Bass, Greg Spero on Keys, Matt Weis formerly of The Soup Sam
Fullerton on the Sax, and Ricardo Gonzales on the drums! In
their short time together, they've also gained recognition from
other professional touring musicians from sit ins with Allie
Kral of CORNMEAL, Mickey Kellerman and Darren Heitz of FUTURE
ROCK, & Kris Myers UMPHREY'S McGEE.
We are featuring a set from The Abomidable Twitch! This
turntablist is primarily known for his addictive bass drops and
fusion of electronica, glitch, & hip-hop. He is a
favorite of the Chicago Glitch scene! You may have seen him
with Bassnectar or artists like the Glitch Mob and we invite you
out to this event to see him turn it out at the Kinetic Playground!
Funk Jam veterans Fifth World delivers an early set of their always
changing grooves!
For the first time at the Kinetic Playground, Vicarious takes the
stage! They have been hailed as a Tool tribute project that
is sometimes better than Tool!
