Street Art Classes
We are excited to announce our newly scheduled Street Art Classes
which will be taking place at The Galaxie (
http://www.galaxiechicago.com) on April 26th! Classes are taught by local artist Revise CMW.
If you want to learn the basics of "street art" and get an inside
look to the world of aerosol based art then come check us out! We
believe in a fun, stress-free legal environment.
In the class we will be learning the basic foundations of popular
forms of street art including but not limited to, graffiti art,
stenciling, wheatpasting, and whatever you want to create with
tools of the trade . We will be teaching the foundation for you to
go on and apply what you learn on almost any kind of surface.
We teach beginners the basics of all things Street Art. Learn spray
can control, design, lettering, stenciling, marker art, and more!
Great for the aspiring artist or art student! This type of course
cannot be found in any school!
Don't worry if you have no art experience, it is a class for
beginners. We start you off at ground zero and build you up.
The classes are for people of all ages and are full of people just
like you looking to learn the art of spray can control and street
art basics.
Classes will be held on Sundays from 3 to 5pm, and class terms are
for 4 weeks.
First Term Starts April 26th, runs until May 17th
Time - 3 to 5PM
Place - The Galaxie - 2603 W Barry Ave, Chicago, IL
Cost - $125.00
Includes cost of most materials (we just ask that you bring your
own markers and sketchbook, we provide tons of spray paint!)
