Free Admission Before 10:00PM"There are Web-based communities with members who should probably
never meet in the real world, but for the regulars at
DeepHousePage.com, getting together is essential. Inspired by and
largely concerned with the legendary club-scene eras in Chicago and
New York, the site maintains forums for discussion of house and
disco parties long past, hypes upcoming events, posts rare original
flyers from events at the Bismarck Pavilion and A.K.A., and
highlights interviews with the likes of Chip E. and Craig
Alexander. Members can also link to their own DJ mixes. The most
potent feature is the library of mixes that DHP maintains: One can
stream a Tony Humphries mix from 1982 or a Larry Heard set from
last year. -By John Dugan, TimeOut Chicago"
Join us as we unite under one house for another session of deep
musical bliss featuring deehousepage's Torin Edmond, Joe DePresser
and Anthony Nicholson!

Jo de Presser
Born in 1970 on December 18th in Chicago , Illinois . Reborn in
1982, when his brother, Raymond brought home two turntables, mixer
& a reel to reel. It wasn’t until a year later before
Raymond let Jo de touch the equipment. Listening to the mixes he
brought from the Warehouse and other various sources gave Jo de a
path and an ear for blending and technique.
By 1984, househeads knew him from the music blaring from the second
floor apartment and began to ask him to dj at parties. In 1986, Jo
de’s family moved to the westside of Chicago . There he met
Charlie Brown and together formed a group called Square One. Which
the members are still in contact with each other. Later that same
year, Quik Claude, a promoter, approached Jo de to be the resident
dj at DiVinci Manor along with James ‘Housetrane’
Hunter, DJ Pat, and Raymond (no relations).
Under Quik Cluade, Jo de dj’ed at numerous places across
Chicago along side famous djs such as Farley
‘Jackmaster’ Funk, Lil‘ Louis, Gene Hunt, Mike
‘Hitman’ Wilson, Bad Boy Bill, Terry Hunter, Ron
Carroll, and the Legendary Ron Hardy. That continued until late
1989. Attending college, meeting friends and growing a family has
not persuaded him to lose the love for dj’ing. In fact, it
helped nurture the passion inside, giving him a deeper reason to
share and keep that eternal vinyl rotating inside his soul.
