Surprise Sundance Premiere Coming Up Tuesday, August 5th!

Q&A with director and producer follows the screening

Chicago , IL – First Tuesdays with The Midwest Independent Film Festival continue with a surprise Chicago premiere screening on Tuesday, August 5th at Landmark's Century Centre Cinema, beginning at 6 p.m.   In a new twist for this month’s festivities, attendees will not learn the identity of the evening’s cinema until they arrive at the theatre.   When asked about the film, Festival Director Mike McNamara replied, “All I can tell you is that it premiered at Sundance earlier this year, the director and producer will be flying in for this Chicago Premiere and the film is really, really good!”

Screening Information: Tuesday, August 5th, 2008 -- festivities begin with a Pre-Show Cocktail Reception (sponsored by GUINNESS Draught) at Landmark's Century Centre Cinema (2828 North Clark) at 6 p.m.   Our surprise premiere screening begins promptly at 7:30 p.m.   Post-screening reception generously hosted by Forno Diablo, 433 West Diversey.   General admission is $10 and includes entry into all of the evening’s festivities.
